2019 December – Paul, In the Dog House, Loadsa people, Super Squeaky
Paul
This is a picture of Paul, the Christmas Octopus.
He arrived in the post today. I think the offspring are trying to cheer Mum up after my fracas the other day.
It’s very nearly working. She seems a bit more cheerful today.
Also there is a new series on Netflix called The Witcher with Henry Cavill, so Mum will be watching that and trying to relax. She’s just finished watching Grimm, which was brilliant.
“There once was a man who lived a life so strange, it had to be true. Only he could see what no one else can—the darkness inside, the real monster within, and he’s the one who must stop them. This is his calling. This is his duty. This is the life of a Grimm.”
In the Dog House
This is a picture of me. This is after the fracas the other day.
Mum is mad with me about the fracas.
So… the fracas was as follows.
I escaped and bolted after another dog today and had a proper barky go at it. Man owner was entirely rational and more than decent about it, all things considered. His dog was fine. He was fine. I was fine. Mum was not fine. Not at all.
Apparently I am getting coal for Christmas this year, if I’m lucky.
I don’t know what that is.
Is it bad?
Loadsa people here for Crimble
This is a picture of me looking ever so cute and innocent.
I have a feeling it is getting close to turkey time.
I like turkey time.
And pretty close to pressie time.
I like pressie time. I can unwrap pretty much anything, if I put my mind to it.
Super Squeaky
haha – I have been given a super squeaky tennis ball for Crimble.
It is really loud. And apparently really, really annoying.
It is driving everyone mad.
I like it.
Saffron’s recommendations this month:
Music: As is normal procedure for Crimble, a completely random mix of some good stuff to enjoy. So please, do.
Drift Away by Dobie Gray
I Can’t Help Myself – The Four Tops
Annie’s Song – John Denver
This Kiss – Faith Hill
You’re Gorgeous – Baby Bird (surely the only song ever to use the word ‘tank top’!)
Smooth – Santana ft Rob Thomas
It’s a Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World – James Brown
Sweet Child O’ Mine – Guns N’ Roses
Waterloo Sunset – The Kinks
A Little Less Conversation – Elv1s v JXL
Dance Monkey – Tones and I
Reading: The Jack Reacher books by Lee Child. Frankly any of them but if you’re up for it, try reading them in order. There are 27 of them. Challenge accepted? Nicely written. Mum’s read all of them. Smug.
Films: Well, it’s Christmas so why not go all Bruce Willis and the Die Hard films. Good grief, there are five of them – Die Hard, Die Hard 2, Die Hard with a Vengeance, Live Free or Die Hard, A Good Day to Die Hard. The first movie is the best really – the sequels are a bit more variable, however all action packed and easy to watch really. Give them a go, why not?
